This album is a live concert recording taken from concerts on January 27 & 28, 2023 in Richmond and Montpelier, Vermont. It was a collaboration involving poet Rajnii Eddins, composer Erik Nielsen and the instrumentalists listed below. Our aim was to help create a more just and equitable world through shared values and working together.

Erik Nielsen Brookfield, Vermont

Erik Nielsen has created works for chorus, orchestra, wind ensemble, solo instruments, chamber music, works for dance, film and electronic music. His pieces have been performed all over the world. He has written two operas, "A Fleeting Animal", a tragic love story about a returning veteran and a single mother in a small Vermont town; and "Aliceheimer's", a work about a woman's dementia journey. ... more
